To thems what care and didn't already know (I only found out today, shockingly), Water Bearer films has at last (well, earlier this summer) seen fit to release their Pasolini catalog on DVD.
Curiously, they've organized them not chronologically but by...well, I'm not sure by what. So Volume II contains: Accatone / The Hawks and the Sparrows / The Gospel According to Saint Matthew, and Volume I contains: Oedipus Rex / Porcile / Comizi d'amore (which title is stupidly translated as Love Meetings, but whatever).
Don't know how the transfers look, haven't seen them yet, but to honest, I'm not fussy, just delighted to have access to the films. Happy happy joy joy. A source of much goodness for all concerned.

Sun, October 26, 2003 - 8:03 AMYeah, unfortunately netflix does not carry any of these films. Greencine.com does, a good reason for switching, which I should do at some point. -
