    Who's the director?

I google'd it and got nothing but porn listings.

Even did search at IMDB which is the premier film industry site.

    Nada.

You've got my interest perked, except I can't locate the film.

Tell me more, tell me more.

She's a famous blond bombshell ... and the brunette is a pretty big star, too ... for the life of me it escapes me ... but, we found it years ago ... on shelf at blockbusters in IN?/Chicago? ... unfortunately it was dubbed ... but, really funny ... like Gianni Stechino ...

yes, thank you ... Blonde in Black Leather ... 1975 ... really silly & sexy ... w/2female prtaganist ... good to look at, too ... E

comment from the site, pretty accurate:
Sometimes it's not possible to defend or rationalize our fondness for mindless friends. It's the same with movies. This one has two beauties, Claudia Cardinele and Monica Vitti, and they ride around on a motorcycle. Never mind the rest, you will only sound ridiculous if you attempt to describe the plot. But the company is good, except neither actress does her own dubbing (Vitti's sexy throaty voice is sadly missing here).

I once had a major crush on Claudia Cardinele. Always enjoyed looking at her, but what gives with IMDB's "3 out of possible 10 stars?" They make it sound like it's a stinker made by an Italian Ed Wood. Blonde in Black Leather, great title. Imagine all the possible sequels: Brunette In White Leather. Redhead in No Leather. The possibilites are astounding.

I laughed out loud ... something I rarely do ... it's a little campy ... but, goodness does she wear the black leather well ... it's great fun ... would like to find an undubbed version ... I think it might be better ... check it out! E

Quick question, simply to see what your taste is like.

                What's your favorite 5 - 10 minute segment in "8 1/2"?

been so long since I saw that ... I'd hesitate to answer ... Felini wasn't my fav ... but I've matured as a viewer ...

I remember somthing about an elephant?(think that's the wrong film) would have to see it again ...

It's not my favorite Fellini, but the opening ten minutes STILL blows me away.

I am not ashamed to say I will probably borrow various camera moves and angles (not to mention certain character types) when I shoot the first ten minutes of Randy, Rudy and Rose.

I suppose I was in awe, initially ... went way over the top after that ... Fellini is a little too surreal, often dark & ridiculous ... for my tatstes

di mi ... tell me about Rx3?

                      E

I will message you with the Rx3. Don't wish to bother our fellow tribe members with an American film that only LOOKS Italian.

By the way, Fellini's Roma and Fellini's Armacord and Fellini's La Dolce Vita are less dark and though somewhat "surreal" (actually, I prefer to call them sin-ematic) are films that even someone who's not a great fan of Fellini can watch and enjoy immensely.
